Arsalan Arif

Arsalan Arif is the founder and CEO of Endpoints News, a leading biopharma journalism publication that was acquired by the Financial Times in 2023. Born in 1979 in Wichita, Kansas—known as the Air Capital of the World—Arif has built a career spanning journalism, media publishing, and aviation.

Career

After attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Arif began his career in Washington, D.C., including internships with Representative Todd Tiahrt (KS-04) and Senator Sam Brownback. He later joined FierceMarkets as an account executive at FierceBiotech, eventually becoming publisher of life sciences publications.

In 2014, Arif launched the Endpoints Early Edition newsletter, which evolved into Endpoints News in 2016. Under his leadership, Endpoints grew into one of the most respected voices in biopharma journalism, culminating in the Financial Times acquiring a majority stake in 2023.

Aviation

A lifelong aviation enthusiast from the Air Capital, Arif earned his private pilot certificate in 2000 at Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport (now Eisenhower National Airport). In 2024, he completed his instrument rating at the same airport, continuing a passion for flying that spans over two decades.

Personal

Arif currently splits his time between Lawrence, Kansas and Kihei, Hawaii. He can be found on X (formerly Twitter) as @arsalanarif, on LinkedIn, Instagram, and GitHub under the handle preflightcheck.
